The Symbolic Migration getting ready to fly back north!
SCHOOL VISIT.-
Dear friends: The Symbolic Migration visits to most of the schools around the two largest Monarch Sanctuaries, “El Rosario” and “Sierra Chincua” in central México, reach their end this season. The message on pollination and polllinator insects brought to their classrooms and their learning on its determining importance to the conservation of Monarch’s habitat, has touched a really sensible part in the minds and hearts of our children, their families and teachers, opening to them a much wider window to the wisdom and magic of nature’s equilibrium, allowing Monarchs’ habitat to continue to be possible in our Oyamel forests. Awakening in them the feeling of going out while at school or home to explore, compare, observe and reflect on every little creature’s role in our flora and fauna surrounding and getting to know their determining importance within our own local ecosystem, has even perhaps awoken the first notions of future professions in some them, and a much stronger conviction of becoming fierce guardians to their own natural surrounding for the sake of a promising future to themselves. Within an athmosphere of celebration out in nature, at the bottom of some Oyamel and Pine trees at the entrance of a narrow path leading to El Rosario Sanctuary, where extraordinary population numbers of Monarchs catch the attention of thousands and thousands of visitors from all over the world coming to contemplate the wonder, our children living and attending school around these two Sanctuaries shout hurra’s! and bravo’s! to the Symbolic Migration which delivers here the last Ambassador Monarchs sent by North American and Canadian children. Now, as Monarchs get ready to head north within the next weeks, over a thousand plus some more hundreds of Ambassador Monarchs will fly their journey north almost simultaneously so that they land in the classrooms of American and Canadian children who will receive the letters of goodwill from their Mexican counterparts who will remain anxious for the next season for the Symbolic Migration visit to them again in their schools!.
