To close our comments on COVID conditions, we should say we are proud of our Vaccination System in México which proved to be one of the most efficient in the world.

Official figures show that over 80 % of our adult population has received at least a first vaccine dose already, and 55% percent have already received their second dose.

Right now, 20-30-year-olds have already received their first dose and are awaiting their second.

This week it has been announced that 15-year-olds will be eligible for vaccination in the coming days now!

Our Health system has used Pfizer, AstraZeneca,  Sputnik, and Moderna.

Hundreds of thousands of vaccine doses continue to arrive in huge cargo plane containers at our international airport in México City. They efficiently reach far away villages in the mountains to regions like our tiny villages in the monarch hibernating places.

Because of the age of our students at this visit, Estela was more than an instructor. She became a spectator.  Once she set up the forest didactic model, she simply encouraged students to speak about it.

Students at this perfect age to comment in a more abstract way, agreed on the following wise reflections together with the Symbolic Migration:

“Science and technology shall sooner or later find a definite solution for challenges like the one the COVID-19 virus brought to the world and shall most likely reverse such situations within the immediate to short term.”

“However, reversing the damages done to nature shall take a lifetime effort.”

“The great news is that we are still in time to rescue and preserve.”

“We are so happy to hear we are still having a chance!”

…students exchanged, as they shared the different benefits that our local trees in the forest have provided to monarchs and to us for centuries now.

No computers or real contact with technology benefits education to our students at this school level, but hopefully making them aware of the natural reserve they will inherit and guard in the future, shall offer them a more promising and privileged life.
