We need 22 trees each to keep breathing!

THE VISIT

There the location the Symbolic Migration project next last week, “Cerro Prieto”, and the children and adults accompanying, living over there, holding an image used at every visit this season, which is the image of a mountain in their own location today and to their eyes, perhaps for the first time. “Cerro Prieto” is located at only a few kilometers from Monarchs’ overwintering spots at “El Rosario” Sanctuary. Here part of our reflection today: “Each human being on Earth, everyone of us, me… you… and you beside, need 22 trees to breath each, every second, day and night, every day, all along our lives… is Mother Earth able to give us that much anymore?. What are we doing to help it?. Where shall we go if this disappears little by little?. We are over 7 thousand million people in the world… Yes!, we are still on time to rescue, to restore, to watch, to appreciate…. Here we are meeting outside the little chapel where we worship and express our needs. Look around, out here is the answer… just as we behave, quiet, respectful at such precious little place where every thing is untouchable, a jewel… out here is the the big chapel, our common house, our only shelter in the whole universe!. Our homeland is part of the big miracle; Don’t you think Monarchs are a sign of it?”. There, dear Northern friends, our class of the day, our reflections on forests, on trees, on our local surrounding. This initial additional existential reflection goes mostly at every single visit on our Common House, Mother Earth. May our common faith and our common prayer join all at a time for it. It is on us, and it is now.
