Moths and their caterpillars are beautiful creatures!

Moths have four wings as do butterflies. There are two pairs of wings, fore and hind, making a total of four.

Moths usually rest with their wings open. Butterflies usually hold their wing upright when at rest.

Moths have feathery antennae. Butterflies have thin antennae with a knob at the end.
