Dear Symbolic Migration participants:

With only a few hours delay and punctually attending their ancestral appointment, the great real Monarch migration is just occurring, reaching their final destination at their overwintering palaces in our Oyamel fir forests, and just at a time too, your fantastic symbolic butterflies are landing in the hands of our students attending schools throughout their three Sanctuaries!

The content in the beautiful Ambassador butterflies you have created shall show our students the context of school life and local culture in which Monarch butterflies’ life cycle and habitat occur in the north This shall greatly inspire our local families, students, and teachers to increase their actions on conservation of their overwintering habitat here.

Great expectation, excitement, and surprise are welcoming the great lesson on conservation that Symbolic Migration shall  bring to our local students this season:

WATER POLLUTION AND ACTIONS TO PREVENT IT.

Vicente Guerrero Elementary students are receiving your first Ambassador butterflies in the community of Macheros located at the bottom of the first Sanctuary discovered Cerro Pelón., Here water, animal species, and vegetation are the most abundant among the three sanctuaries, for which contributing to reinforcing ways to better care of the precious element shall be greatly appreciated by teachers students, and their families!
